Our Mission

All students should have what they need to reach their full potential.

Lincoln Public Schools provides a high-quality education to nearly 42,000 students in Lincoln. Still, financial disparities exist within the student body, with 47.7% of students participating in the free and reduced lunch program. Taxpayer dollars play a crucial role in our schools, but unique needs often arise that exceed school budgets.

Regardless of various opportunity gaps, every young scholar has one thing in common: the desire for a bright future.

When You Give, You:

Empower Students: You help narrow the opportunity gap for students by providing access to resources such as scholarships, classroom field trips, and short-term emergency aid, becoming a champion for equality in education where all means all.

Support Teachers & Staff: Great educators inspire a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. Your gift provides special classroom materials, access to professional development opportunities, and recognition for teachers and staff members.

Enrich Programs: Education goes beyond textbooks and traditional classroom instruction. Donor gifts support art, music, career, technical, and special education programs that nurture creativity, critical thinking, and career and college readiness.

Strengthen the Community: The success of Lincoln Public Schools directly affects the families, local businesses, and quality of life in Lincoln. By investing in education, you invest in our future leaders and the prosperity of our city.
