Focus Programs
Lincoln Public Schools offers several focus programs for students who want to connect with to a specific subject that interests them. These programs offer an alternative to traditional high schools, providing students a more focused high school experience. The Foundation for LPS has helped create funding and partnerships for many of the following focus programs.

The Foundation helps fund individual student research projects. Students working with a faculty advisor can apply for a Todd Francis Creative Research Grant or a Sue and Roger Kirby Science Enhancement Grant.

Early College and Career STEM Focus Program

Beginning fall 2022 juniors and seniors in the focus program located at Lincoln Northeast High School will be able to apply to the Foundation for LPS for dual credit class tuition assistance.
Bay High Focus Program

Opening in 2022 to juniors and seniors, this program will have a content creation and emerging digital media focus. The Bay High Focus Program will be located within The Bay Skate Park.
Bryan College of Health Sciences Focus Program
Near NW 48th and W Holdrege St
Opening in 2022 at Northwest High School. Students will be able to take dual credit classes in which the Foundation will provide assistance to families that qualify.
